StrataStone Canada’s 15 YEAR NO QUESTIONS ASKED warranty means that our customers will get replacement product at no cost due to the following: any tile comes cracked, chipped or discoloured at delivery; also, ACCIDENTALLY broken tiles will be replaced if within the warrantable period. Warranty does not cover misuse of products.
To get warranty on chipped product, the size of the damaged area must be greater than 5mm in size. Each customer is eligible for a maximum of 10% of the total quantity of tile purchased on an order within the warranty timeframe. Any more than 10% of purchased product that is claimed by an individual customer will be deemed to have been caused due to misuse of product; hence, no more warranty will be issued in this scenario.
Warranty includes replacement product only and does not include any other costs – such as but not limited to labour of re-installation. StrataStone Canada does not guarantee stock will be available or colours will match exactly on replacement products. As such, we recommend all customers purchase extra products at the time of the initial order to ensure colour matching of tiles if they need to be replaced. In situations where a matching tile is not available or discontinued, StrataStone Canada will issue full money back for the damaged or broken tiles.
All warranty claims must be sent through the respective Dealer/Distributor from which the product was purchased. All warranty claims must be accompanied by picture(s), proof of payment/invoice, and a brief description of how the damage occurred.
All warranty claims are covered at the discretion of StrataStone Canada.
It is recommended to acquire an extra quantity of products from what is specified to compensate possible breakage, cuts and future needs.
Before installation, please check if the reference number, size, tone and quality are the same in all the tile boxes and they correspond to what the invoice shows. It is recommended to assemble a panel to evaluate the product before installation.
Some products intentionally have different tonality amongst the pieces. It is important to mix pieces of glazed tiles from different boxes before installation as variation between boxes and pallets can occur.
For the cleaning of this product, use only neutral detergent and water. The use of abrasive products and chlorine-based detergent as well as scouring can all damage the surface of the product and must be avoided.
We guarantee products are conforming to the norms of ISO13006, when correctly specified and installed.
